목수가 되는 것은 자동차정비사와 함께 저의 오랜 로망중 하나입니다.
아마 상당수의 남성들이 목공에 관심이 있을 것으로 생각합니다.
Being a carpenter is one of my long-time romances with a car mechanic.

2015년은, 목수가 되는 것에 올인한 시기라고 할 수 있습니다.
2015 is the time when it is all in to become a carpenter.
항상 목공에 대해 제대로 배우고 싶었지만,
차일피일 미루다가 어느덧 결혼을 생각할 시기가 다가오자,
결혼을 하면 더욱 목공을 배울 시간이 없을 것 같아서,
결혼 전에 목공을 배우기로 결심했습니다.
I always wanted to learn about carpentry,
As soon as the time comes to think about marriage is approaching,
I don't think I'll have time to learn more woodworking when I get married,
I decided to learn woodworking before marriage.
그래서 다니던 직장의 근무시간을 절반으로 줄이고(봉급도 절반으로),
목공을 배웠습니다. 수업료와 장비 구입에도 상당한 금액을 투자했었지요.
So I cut my work hours by half (half my salary)
I learned woodworking. I spent a lot of money on tuition and equipment.
현재 집에서 TV선반장, 식탁, 장롱, 수납장, 의자는
직접 만든 가구를 사용하고 있으며,
At home, TV shelves, tables, wardrobes, cabinets, chairs
I'm using homemade furniture,
아직 아들이 어리지만 나중에 아들에게
멋진 아지트와 놀이터를 만들어 주고 싶습니다.
My son is still young,
but I want to make a nice azit and a playground for him.
더불어 나만의 작업실을 장만하여
아들에게 목공과 그동안 제가 익힌 여러가지 기술을 가르쳐 주는 것이 꿈입니다 :)
I'm going to buy my own studio,
I dream of teaching my son the woodworking and the various skills I have learned:)
