The Replica Houses

The site had replica houses to show what the very first villages and settlements would have looked like between 800 years BC and 500 years AD.

You can see the house is built in the same adobe style that the whole town of San Pedro de Atacamo employs - which in itself is pretty mind-blowing. The site is only 20 minutes from the main town, so if you need a day off from the normal adventures of Atacama then this site is a good place to visit.
