Humberto and his brother told us all about Altos Limpios and the sand dunes. When they offered to take us on a day trip to visit we immediately said yes!
After a half an hour drive we arrived at the dunes and ended up spending a whole day here, talking about the local culture and embracing their lifestyle.
As we walked through this strange environment with the wind on my skin, I reflected on the people I'd met on this trip and just how relaxed, care free, and happy everyone is here.
We spotted a falcon swooping over our heads that then came and settled right next to us.
This little day out was only made better by the spectacular welcome we got as we arrived back at the village.
