Boca in Buenos Aires

I've been tidying all my old photos and getting up to date with my Steemit travel diary. If you've followed me over the last month you'll know that I've been working on new projects in Chile.

Today we're making our way over to Argentina, so before we get settled in I thought I'd share some older posts and stories from a previous road trip I made through Argentina. First up is the capital of Buenos Aires.

The first place we visited within the bustling capital was the colourful and soulful La Boca. It was perhaps the most reccomended place from the locals that we spoke to.

If you are visiting you need to keep an eye on your belongings, but having said that, I felt very safe walking around and exploring the different alley ways. The stylish town is made up of so many different coloured buildings, with dancers on street corners, and lots of smiling faces.

I went to see the infamous stadium that belongs to the Boca Juniors. The team has a rivalry with the other popular Argentine team River Place.

This rivalry has actually led to a ban of away fans at their games, and leads to a strange subdued atmosphere. I guess this sums up the passion that Argentinians have for football - and you can feel it. You may have heard of Maradonna who is one of the most famous footballers to play for Boca Juniors.
