I went to bed too late last night and didn’t get enough sleep. That cascaded into being slow out the door this morning for my morning walk along the riverbank path to the park. One slightly amusing thing that happened on the way was being surprised by the sound of a woodpecker rapidly pecking a metal pole with a metal sign on it. Until I mentally processed what was causing it, it was a very out-of-place sound.
