After relocating myself and my business to New Orleans in 2016, I had the pleasure of flying back to Oregon to photograph two wonderful weddings in the summer of 2017. They are both perhaps two of my favorite weddings from my ten years as a photographer. Jeremiah and Lydia are so full of love for each other, and it certainly shows in their eyes and their hearts!
This beautiful wedding and reception took place at the Gentle House in Monmouth, Oregon. A gorgeous venue, I was happy to have the opportunity to photograph on the grounds once again, even though I now live 2,569 miles away.
As I look through these images from last summer, I'm happy to call Jeremiah and Lydia my friends: I've known Jeremiah since our younger punk rock days growing up in Dallas, Oregon. I also met Lydia a number of years ago, when her mother (a teacher I remember from my childhood) hired me to photograph Lydia's senior portraits. We adventured through the woods for those portraits, with her cute pet rats in tow :)
