It has become a norm to witness many posts on the hive blockchain being self-upvoted. What comes to your mind whenever you see this? You feel like Oops... Why the self-upvote which should have been used to reward another author. Of course, many community admins, authors and curator do not support this mechanism as well.

When your post is curated by someone you joined his curation trail, there are possibilities that your vote may count on your post as well. In such situation, you never can judge someone whose upvote is on his post. So it'll rather be better never to downvote or scold such an individual.
I've come to notice some post on the hive blockchain being down-voted probably due to self-upvoting which i think is not proper. Many of these self-upvoting weren't self-induced but came in via one curation trail or the other. How will you feel when you're been downvoted for a self-upvoting reason that is not properly confirmed to be truly initiated by you? You'll feel bad to be candid.
