Today have been a completely different and unique day from others past. This is the day my bestie legally got married to his soulmate. The event took place at a federal court registry in the country's capital city of Nigeria, Abuja.
There were a total of 10 respective couples who got binded to one another in holy matrimony. Some used the Bible/Quran for their oath of commitment while others used the wedding ring. During this course of binding couples were admolished to be faithful and committed to each other irrespective of their level of disagreement or conflict. Men were advised to love their woman while women were admolished to be submissive, faithful and understanding. Men were advised to understand women in general, and be patient with their wife especially when she's nagging.
I learnt a lot of lessons from what the judge spoke. Indeed, marriage is an endless institution and require two imperfect people bonded to be perfect in love someday. Wishing Fawale Gbenga a happy and fulfilled marriage life.
