So the other day my iPhone 7 Plus decided to completely fall apart on me. I'm pretty sure it was the software update. As much as I love apple, they like to slow down older phones with new "updates". Anyway, Rather than spending the money to repair it and hopefully get it to work, I used my upgrade.
At first I was torn between the iPhone 8 Plus and the X, but it just made more sense to get the X. The iPhone 8/8 Plus has a really old design that has yet to be updated.
The X has an awesome new design with more screen space & no home button. I didn't know how I was going to feel about no home button, but it is actually really nice. You can click anywhere on the screen and that's basically your home button.
I'm also very impressed with the face recognition. It works better that I assumed. I thought I was going to have to awkwardly stare at the phone, but you look at your phone in a very natural way, it's awesome.
Lastly, I love the lighting options on the camera & Siri is improved tremendously.
I'm so impressed with the iPhone X and would recommend it to anyone.
