It can be one of those days that writing seems very boring. Ok I will be making it very brief: my focus is on our night prayers that will be kick-starting in roughly four hours from now. I hope you planned to be a partaker?
I am still working on possible time adjustments so that every part of the world can connect. There is a connection faster than the internet. In short, Solomon talked about this; there is nothing new in the phase of the earth. What we call the latest technology is man just trying to catch up. A lot of things have been and are still going on in the spiritual realms.
What connects people in prayers is heart posture. Even if we are in one room not united, we can achieve little to nothing. We can be in different continents of the world and as long as our hearts are all connected to purpose, we can create a stream of fire.
This is the essence of this ‘Pray with Me' spiritual exercise that The Holy Spirit has encouraged me to keep pushing. It is not always easy at a start, people may not be that interested, not popular and your purpose is not yet too clear, but I will keep pushing it, God is on my side.
Nations will change through these prayers. Continents will run back to Jesus. This is not motivation speaking. We are first focusing on being selfless.
Why selfless you may ask? God loves selfless prayers to start with and secondly, a good watchman must practice, master and live out a selfless prayer life.
As we speak, we have seen so many disasters in the course of this year. Earth quake, Hurricanes, floods and even one of such wars that sparked global concerns. Where are the watchers? Where are the intercessors of this generation?
Everyone (or most) are in their tents, trying to face out their personal problems. Prayer time and intercessory moments are ignored. While the children of darkness are working , that of light are choosing a break or even ignoring the entire needed faith exercise.
To conclude, I urge us to awake. Let's refuse our generation to enter the stage of imbalance under our watch. If only men will rise to their duty post, then will God's attention be drawn to attend to several current challenges.
I can still remember that quote from John Wesley; ‘God will do nothing, except to answer to prayers’. Join us tonight, let's start with one of such selfless prayer time where we forget all our sorrows and worries and just choose to love on God. He deserves it to even start with.
