When I see the utter economic destruction forced upon us through lockdowns and other covid-related governmental policies, I can't believe that it's about doing what's best for our health.
If you don't understand Economics 101, it might seem logical. We just put everything on pause for a while until everyone gets vaccinated (yes, if we don't reach herd immunity the normal way that's how we'll do it otherwise). But that's not how it works; you can't just pause and restart the economy like nothing ever happened.
Right now we're eradicating decades of investments and true value created in our businesses. But not only that; we're forcing millions into unemployment, mental illness, driving families apart and much more things that will have a long-lasting effect on public health.
If the plan is to vaccinate us into herd immunity, we must understand that a virus that mutates will come back in new forms every season, just like the flu. Should we shut down our societies every season so that everyone can get their jab?
It's crazy, and it has to stop. I always try to stay away from conspiracy theories. Still, I can't help see how these measures' result aligns very well with globalist utopian ideas of wealth distribution (not for the 1% of course) and massive governmental control schemes.
