From what I have heard she has Aspergers, which some would classify as a mental illness, when in fact it’s a different mental state of mind, which in some cases lead you to focus and perhaps fixate on certain issues. In this case I think she definitely chose the right thing to focus on, and as for this “mental illness” I think it is a strength in her case, allowing her to be a bit extreme and thus causing a big reaction where people actually wake up.

Is it a bit over the top ? Well, in some aspects yes. On the other hand, if we were able to ask 2 generations ahead of us, maybe they’ll say she was right on the money, and that everyone besides here we’re crazy for not taking action.

But besides this, I do agree that social media is interesting in the way that we choose to react to certain things, while in the same time ignoring other issues that can be much worse.
