I'm in the US, Tennessee specifically. When England kicked us out last year we parked here to wait this thing out. Didn't think we'd be here this long.

We've toured from Florida to California and back this year, stayed a week in Florida, several days in Colorado, etc etc and the only state that's fucked is California. They'll make you a sandwich in California but good luck using a public toilet. Texas and Alabama and mid-west states don't know anything about a virus.

My friends in England have painted their fence three times. I think they're replacing their garage door for a fifth time today. They've really invested in their back yard the last year. Both their sons lost their job so the whole family is packed inside a two bedroom flat. Here in Tennessee, business as usual—tell everyone you know.

Amusement parks, water parks, hair salons, restaurants, gyms, etc (I'm in there every day) never missed a beat. Not even so much as suggest a mask. The malls are crowded, traffic on the streets is worse than normal cuz everyone is getting paid to stay home. There's billboards and help wanted sign everywhere but who the hell would apply for work when they're getting paid more to stay home?

Here's an Italian restaurant parking lot last night, Tuesday—15 minute wait at the door. My wife and I had dinner last night, the people and service were exceptional but the food was garbage. Business as usual in Tennessee:

And a typical day at Bass Pro Shops, consuming and business as usual, not even a suggestion to wear a mask:
