There is a serious problem with violence in America among blacks committing violence (mostly) against other blacks.

Only a white dude would say that.

I never have and still don't think guns are bad. Violence, sure, but guns, I don't think so. Mine are incapable of pulling their own trigger. What should be banned in America is commoditized medicine.

Guns, mass shootings, mental health, all justifiable conversation pieces but it's the more apparent things that happen consistently and on a daily basis people should also talk about.

For example.

32 people will die today from alcohol related auto wrecks and nearly 80% of those weren't drinking.

105 people will die today from a prescribed pharmaceutical overdose.

1,315 people will die today from tobacco related deaths and more than half of those never smoked a cigarette in their life.

1,000,000 more. My point is, I'd like to see collective attention paid more to what's in front of them and less to a familiar television personality.
