Everywhere else I’ve been understands what “Thanksgiving” is. They understand it wasn’t Columbus who discovered America and, in fact, Columbus landing began the genocide of Native Americans. My designed history book will tell you Columbus landed, was taught how to grow corn, etc etc. Seems only Americans, if anyone, are a little confused about that.

Should the day I ever meet a Turkish person arrive, I’ll gladly question them against everyone I’ve met, everyone I haven’t met, the internet, and everywhere else because I haven’t heard anything good about Turkey yet and that covers at least 10 different nationalities including each of those links I sent you.

Even today, they realize they “occupied” the wrong part of Cypress, which isn’t recognized by any other power in the world as Turkish territory except for themselves now that oil is south. But today they can’t do anything because the oil now protects Cypress—British territory, always has been. The US is over there now, as well, for the oil obviously but at least Cypress now has protection against Turkey and hopefully, before the end of our lives, Cypress regains their land.

As my wife and I laid in bed last night, we talked about different opinions and I guess that’s all they are—opinions. Doesn’t matter if the whole entire internet and every person I’ve met, even the one dude from Iraq who did time in a Turkish prison has terrible things to say about Turkey. We questioned why the US hasn’t regulated that country yet and I guess the answer is obvious. Either there isn’t anything worth taking in Turkey or they’re on the same team.
