So its been a good week since i started playing. Im not huge on this series because of mostly just being more interested in OTHER games.
Graphics are amazing, i dont believe the FPS is something i would ever bitch about but it kinda seems like the standard for good ps4 games at least. I can pay 500 dollars for an xboxonex and it MIGHT have a noticeable improvement.
Gameplay loses me a little bit. When i see things in a game that bring the momentum to a halt. I ask if its really necessary. Sharpening my sword WHILE a mud dinosaur is trying to kill me is an example of something i dont want in any game. Another thing is the multiplayer purpose of this experience. Its kinda implied i should be playing with other people. But i dont want to lol. I like podcast games. I like playing fallout or MGSV and listening to music or podcast or audiobooks. Which is preferable when it takes 23 minutes to kill ONE MONSTER! Also combat is clunky..your movement is stiff. But still fun considering the surrounding environment.
Presentation is half and half. I have a big television and i can barely read alot of the menu. The subtitles are probably the most visible thing you can read. Alot of menu text has odd choice of color. Some text is dark or faded.
The Soundtrack and Sound Design are incredible. nuff said boi.
Considering i probably will trade in this game after im done. Whether i have more fun playing it could be returned earlier. As of now the game is a 6/10 for me. If you get the multiplayer aspect of this that is going over my head then boost that to a 8/10
