The idea in plain English is, Tau will generate itself from our instructions as a community. The software generated will be correct by construction with state of the art cybersecurity. This means unlike Ethereum where it's very common for bugs and hacks, it should be very uncommon with Tau if the design of the software is airtight.

Which means the main emphasis will be on knowledge, on algorithms, on design, on R&D, and a lot of the worst part of programming will be abstracted or removed such as the months and months of bug testing.

It also means it will be easier to generate via software synthesis what can be considered industrial grade software. The kind of software used in serious use cases like hardware wallets and pace makers.

Once again, this all depends of course on the specification, but it would be almost impossible to do something like this on Ethereum.
