When sun rises or every dawn we usually woke-up by hearing a couple of crowing sounds. These continous crowing sounds are produced by these "roosters," mostly found in provinces. Nowadays, we can also find many of those roosters in the city since they are being used as fighters in cockpit arenas.
A Rooster has also a biblical symbolism since it is a representation as Saint Peter denies Jesus Christ three times during His Passion and Death. The rooster then crows after the third denial of Saint Peter.
The Rooster is also the tenth of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese Zodiac related to the Chinese calendar.
