Minatamis na Kamote - a sweet dessert and great for merienda. One of the main ingredients of My special Halo-Halo i've been preparing every year and during Holy Week.
Freshly-pick and harvested from the province. Given to us by our Tita's.
I have it unriped and washed it first.
Sliced into pieces/cubes. Washed with running water then drained.
Boiled water with brown sugar. (syrup preparation)
Put-in the camote cubes. Let it boil for a few more minutes then add vanilla flavoring.
Done with your dessert.... Serve it hot or cold....
Best served with condensed milk and crushed ice.... Chillz!
