My first contribution to today's topic of why did John use spirit instead of prophet part2
My contribution for the day:
1.John used spirit instead of prophet because a prophet is also a spirit for you to be a prophet you must have a spirit inside you.
- The spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet to 1 Corinthians 14:32 (Kjv)
3.A prophet is actually a man of God who has been given the gift to prophesy
Why John used a spirit instead of prophet is because John saw the inner part and because there is a spirit propelling a prophet, and that spirit is GOD himself.
God is a spirit and those who worship him should do so in spirit and in truth according to John 4:24
And as a result of the fact that GOD he created us,we are spirit.
