I really want my mom to come and visit me here in China, I want to show her all the sightseeings in Hangzhou and take her to Shanghai as well. She applied for Chinese visa last week, but they didn’t accept her documents because she didn’t provide my original birth certificate, which is here with me.It’s necessary because she applies for a family visa and you need to proof your kinship.I sent her my birth certificate with Fedex and yesterday she reapplied again.Today we will know for sure if they accepted the docs or not.

Thinking and hoping that my mom will get her visa and come makes me remember my childhood.

I have many memories from my childhood, and the time my twin sister and I spent during that period. It was awesome I must say, always entertaining and never boring. Among all the memories I have one I would like to share which is the dearest to me.

It was a sweet, carefree routine back then, we had so many different games to play with my twin sister outside our house, completely different from what children have nowadays.

We would pick up one stick each and make a fencing 🤺 out of it and play hours having so much fun hahaha Our imagination had no limits😁

It was a summer day, we were playing outside as usual when we spotted our beloved mother walking somewhere and most importantly without US!
We, as kids always wanted to be taken along of course. Our mom went in the direction of the bus that was taking people from our countryside place to the city, realized that she was gonna go there we ran after as fast as we could 🏃🏼 🏃🏼 We dropped our sticks or whatever we had in our hands and just ran crying after her, all covered in mud and dirt. Our mother stopped and told us to go back home, she said she had some serious business to do in the city and that she couldn’t take us, but we wouldn’t want listen and would still follow her crying and thinking that the whole situation was the end of the world😂😂😂

And you know what?! In the end she would take us, super dirty and with puffy faces from all the crying, even though she never planned to, but her kind heart would always open her arms for us to embrace. In those kind of moments my twin sis and I were beyond happy.

Our mom would buy us the most delicious strawberries sold in a paper cone, one each.

Now I don’t really remember what places we went and what streets we walked on there in the city during the trip, but I distinctly remember my mother’s face with her arms wide open for us and the smell of the strawberry🍓

It’s my time to make her have ✨these kind of memories✨, and I pray that her documents for visa will be accepted😊
