This past Saturday, I went with my friends to a coffee afternoon. We went to a coffee shop that we did not know and had been recommended to us, the experience was very pleasant in many ways, however, it is not the coffee shop that I fall in love with and go back to often, as it is attached to a pizzeria which makes it somewhat bustling.
As it was a hot afternoon, we went to the air-conditioned area. When they brought us the menu we opted for a refreshing drink, the three of us ordered a frappuccino, two lattes and a traditional one.
Sweet or savory? In our case, we agreed that it depends on the time of day. If we are having breakfast, we prefer to accompany the coffee with a salty snack, my favorite is a croissant with cream cheese and smoked ham.
When it is the afternoon coffee, we take the opportunity to taste something sweet, this time was no exception. The sweets offered in this place are chocolate based, so we ordered: two brownies with vanilla and chocolate ice cream and a chocolate cake.
The coffee stood out for its strong flavor that was maintained from start to finish and the sweets gave that special touch that by tasting them alternately your taste buds have fun with the combination of flavors. Everything was exquisite.
When the sun went down and the afternoon cooled down we went to the outdoor area, it was very quiet, turning out to be a very nice space, one of my friends who love photography enjoyed doing her thing, my other friend and I also enjoyed modeling for her.
This "photo shoot", apart from offering us fun, personally brings me benefits, because I have a set of photos to make my posts, my friends laugh and say:
You are even having a coffee, you are working. I answer them
Yes it's true, what happens is that fun, wellness and surrounding myself with the love of my friends is part of my job, which makes it the best job!
While we were doing this fun activity, we drank a mojito, which I must admit, was very good. On second thought, I would like to go back to this cafeteria, since the variety of products is wide, of excellent quality, and the young people who attend it are very kind in their attention.
What has made the difference from my initial appreciation is to realize that just by changing the time towards the end of the day the place is perfect to share that coffee, as I like so much in a quiet environment, outdoors and with the best company.
