Sunflower is a plant for a short day and is demanding to the intensity of sunlight. It originates from the steppes of North America, where wild forms are still found. As an oil-bearing plant it is also grown in Bulgaria. Moved after the Liberation from Russia as an ornamental plant and edible. Good Sunday! Smiles!
