In the above scenario (where WLEO goes to a dollar), it would have been better for me to have just held the 18k LEO and watched them be worth $18k as opposed to providing liquidity.

Yea but if the community didnt provide the liquidity in the first place, there would be a smaller possibility for the price to go up :)
