I did a similar animation for the top DeFi projects by marketcap more than a month ago. At that time the UNI token wasn鈥檛 launched yet.
Lets take a look how things stands now in the DeFi world.
The DeFi projects have been growing at a fats rate in the last few months. There has been ups and downs, but overall looks like the space is still growing. Not to mention Uniswap and the new DeFi coins listed there daily 馃槉.
Obviously, a lot of capital has entered this space.
Here we will take a look at the top DeFi projects and their evolution in the last 50 days.
The DeFi space has grown so fast that there are projects literally few weeks old with hundreds of millions marketcap. Uniswap and Sushi for example.
Here we will be looking into the following DeFi coins:

- MKR
- YFI
- SNX
- UNI
- COMP
- LRC
- KNC
- BAL
- SUSHI
- RUNE
- CURVE
Note that these don鈥檛 represent the whole DeFi industry but are some of the top coins in the industry.
Having a look at the top DeFi coins and how there marketcap evolved over time can give us some nice perspective of the crypto industry.
The period that we will be looking here is August 23th till October 11, 2020.
