This is my first time playing Apex Legends

I somehow have managed to literally never play Apex Legends ever since it was first released back in early 2019. I love the games that Respawn has put out in the past such as Titanfall and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I have mainly avoided this game because it is a battle royale and it also doesn't have Solos.

Although I don't have a squad to play with, I finally decided to queue up some Trios. Of course, my teammates were non-existent pretty much as soon as the game started. This is why I get so annoyed with BRs. Luckily I still managed to get several kills and have some fun. There was a lot of running around, but eventually, I stumbled upon an area full of enemies. I have no idea how I managed to survive as long as I did.

Unlike the other two BR-style games I've been playing (Bloodhunt and Fortnite) Apex is first-person rather than third. This may seem like a minor change, but it is actually pretty huge. It is a totally different feel because of this. Apex's shooting mechanics feel really good though, so I see why so many people enjoy playing it. The one thing I am concerned about is the fact that it seems to be so team-oriented. Maybe I can still get into it.

I look forward to trying the Arenas mode in my next video.
