@acidyo you’re the first person to directly ask me anything about my GT7 livery posts outside of a watchers comment accusation about 2 months ago claiming they are all AI. Everybody else just decided to nuke anything I post in unison without a single conversation as to why.

Next thing I knew multiple of my favorite communities muted me and all of the non-GT7 livery gaming content I’ve posted over the years now has a filter over it.

For clarity…

With my GT7 livery posts — I used the detailed historical info included for all cars in Gran Turismo 7 — the game is basically a history book for everything automotive. Also my own knowledge of the cars and then YES also used AI to help me organize said information. Lastly altered the text myself to finalize all of the writing. AI was one of several tools in the process.

Most people these days use AI for something and that includes you I’m sure. I haven’t read up on anything recently, but I thought @holozing was using AI to generate the monster artwork. Maybe I’m wrong, it’s none of my business really and frankly I don’t even care as long as it turns out to be an awesome game in the end. I know for sure @ragnarok.game was doing that with their art though, and support for that seemed to be good and no harm done.

I really just don’t see how any of my livery posts are considered “low effort” though since it takes me minimum 2-4 hours to design each livery then more time on top of that to setup and photograph them in various locations using GT7 Scapes. Hand placing every single decal doesn’t feel like low effort work to me. I’m sure there’s people who have never played GT7 and may also believe each livery and car photograph is fully AI generated too. To be clear. The car designs have zero AI assistance.

It was just a mess and it all happened right as I was about to leave for the biggest international trip of my life. I was focused on making sure traveling went smoothly and was not about to spend my travel time debating with people who had seemingly already made up their mind about me considering nobody actually reached out to me directly. So I figured I would get back to it when I returned and then start sharing all of my travel stuff from the trip. When I finally got home I had travel afterglow and felt like maybe a break from Hive would be the best thing for me since lately it’s just been a headache. I still feel that way after almost 2 whole months.
