I Am Dead after playing this game 🍞☠️

I Am Bread is currently sitting on the PS Plus game catalog, but that doesn't mean you should waste your valuable time playing it.

I Am Bread is a quirky and unconventional simulation game developed by Bossa Studios. Released in 2015, the game takes a humorous and absurd premise – players control a slice of bread with the goal of becoming toast. The game's unique concept immediately sets it apart, offering players a challenging and comical experience as they navigate various environments, utilizing a physics-based control system that simulates the absurd struggle of a slice of bread on its quest to reach the toaster.

The gameplay in I Am Bread involves manipulating each corner of the bread slice independently, making movement deliberately awkward and amusing. The challenge lies in avoiding dirt and other contaminants while navigating kitchens, bedrooms, and other household environments. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, embracing its absurdity with a tongue-in-cheek narrative and humorous scenarios. The intentionally difficult controls contribute to the comedic value, as players find themselves hilariously flinging their slice of bread across the room in an attempt to reach the toasting appliance.

While I Am Bread may not be a conventional or serious game, its offbeat premise and comedic execution have made it a cult favorite among players who appreciate unconventional and humorous gaming experiences. The game's blend of physics-based challenges and comedic storytelling provides a unique and entertaining break from more traditional gaming fare, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience for those seeking something delightfully different.

With that said, I hated this game with a passion. The controls felt impossible to understand and I was unable to progress past the first table I landed on. See how frustrated I got with this game in my gameplay video below. This may be the quickest I have quit a game in quite some time.
