Bitcoin really isn't that environmentally harmful. If more people used btc than fiat, there would be a smaller carbon footprint. People only calculate the energy used to process card transactions when comparing to btc mining. But bitcoin network is more than transactions. It's an entire money supply, including minting, distribution, and governmence. To make a proper comparison we would have to account for the energy used by the entire fiat supply, storage, governence ect. You would even have to add the US gov and their military since the petro dollar it props up is the only reason the dollar is worth anything. In fact, you would have to add every fiat currency in the world, and all those same systems.
Bitcoin does everything fiat does and more for a fraction of a percent of what.
Interesting token though I'll look into it.
