I would be shocked if anything meaningful happened. Ending the drug war, would be declaring war on the CIA. So much of their ops depend on funding, blackmail, or the general violence and upheaval of the drug war to carry out. Plus the fact that most drugs would be 90% this way. It creates monopoly markets for intelligence, or government connected cartels.

If anything come of this it will be something "equity" based that let's them let off a few token minorities for charges, without relinquishing the control that comes with prohibition.
