We see the
DAB supply is consistent at 340-350 per week but it will get a boost soon by 20% because we have 20k more DBOND in circulation since the last time I edited the mining reward pool. Within the next few weeks, you will notice that DAB rewards from staking DBOND will increase by 20%. I would love to keep the reward as is and increase the amount of prizes by 20% but we are already set on the maximum amount of prizes. Keep an eye out for that 😉
The DBOND supply has remained steady even when we are issuing out 250-300 extra a week since the launch of RUG. How? I've been using the HIVE that is allocated to back RUG rewards to buy back DBOND from the open market at 1 HIVE each. I plan to do this for a few months until people see DBOND is somewhat liquid knowing RUG will buy back 300 a week (the same amount being rewarded). My hope is to replicate what I did with the EDS token in terms of there being liquidity to exit for investors without EDS having to provide it. If you look now, there any a few hundred worth of buy orders but if you listed 5000 EDS at 1 HIVE each, they would sell in under 1 week. I could explain how but then, you'll feel like you're being tricked, baa-hahaha.
The result of RUG buying DBOND from the open market is that fewer DBOND are being minted which is good for DBOND holders
Liquid holders still dominate, we cant blame people for wanting HIVE. These that stake are playing the real long-term game, staking DAB to receive (staked) DBOND knowing there is a limited number of DBOND. There are many ways to gamify DAB and DBOND tokens through either staking are holding liquid and now RUG adds another layer to the mix. We'll never list DBOND for sale again and there will be limited ways to mint it in future with each new way getting more expensive.

Anyways, to bring it back to the topic, staking DAB is the best rewarding way to get more DBOND. RUG in terms of pay HIVE invested yields better than staking DAB and delegating HP is like....free. haha.

We are starting to increase in players due to RUG token which is bringing in a few new players. It took us 1 year to hit 200 players, thats not bad on HIVE, maybe even 1 in 50 active users, lol. Slap yourself on the back to being one of the first.
No change here at all, the DAB whales are the whales and im happy they are holding and not dumping. Makes no difference to us, to be honest, it's just nice to see people HODL. Nice because I know the longer they stack and HODL, the more money we'll make for them.
You probably do not think about it, but if you are holding DBOND, you will get the same amount of HIVE back that you invested unless DBOND does an EDS and trades over peg. So, your DAB is all your profit. We issue DAB at a value of 1 HIVE but they often trade now over 2 HIVE meaning these sellers are earning double APY.

Based on DAB being valued at 1 HIVE each, the APY for holding your DAB is either daily HIVE drips are DBOND drips worth 98%. The percentage will drop as more DABs are minted but as more DABs are in circulation, the mintage will have less impact.
Its been a good week and overall, we are on plan. Keep an eye out for increasing DBOND mining rewards, they will jump 20% within the next week. Buy more RUG and grow DAB into a beast!
