If we talked about Provincial life, most of the structures we can see are made of light materials just bamboos, timbers, planks and knitted coconut leaves as rooftop. Here in our place, we also made this very unique waiting shed made of light materials. Many people says that having this kind of structures is very cool even if the intense heat happens. It also makes the structure well more attractive if there are lots of different kinds of plants decorated on each side of the shed. This waiting shed we have here constructed almost a month and it carefully built in plans first.
Aside of the shed we built, a simple bamboo frames where vine plants like pothos plants where placed. To make the structure durable and not easily destroyed because of the heavy weight of the plants grows, we decided to put long bamboos as posts. This tall talisay tree we have here is properly cut and formed into an umbrella shape so it will expand and producing lots of branches and leaves. Under in this bamboo frame and tall tree, a simple built wooden chairs and table are placed. Because of this, rooftop is no need here because of the trees and wild plants grows.
Having lots of different kinds of flowers and ornamental plants at home makes us feel relaxing. I gladly collected lots of plants and some of it are given from my Grandma. Even if our house is very simple, it is still unique because of the plants surrounded to our house. Watering it is no problem because we also near at the river and we have also faucet flowing lots of water. Most of the plants we have here are designed as landscapes and some of it are planted on each side of the lawn as fence.
This wooden simple chairs and table are built many years already but it is still usable until today. We decided to put this under the Pomelo tree so everyone who sit here wont be exposed by the Sunlight. But we planning to reconstruct this and make it new and attractive and replaced those small pieces that is already broken. Most of the lumbers made here are Molave and Mahogany, some of the hardest trees found here in the Province.
Selling coconuts is our main source of income here and it is expected to plant lots of coconut trees here. Gladly as many years has already past, we finally gained a success behind of our Hardworks and dedications. This tall coconut trees produced lots of fruits and we always do harvesting every two Months. Aside of that plain areas with lots of grass is a perfect spot for camping and picnic trips. In fact last month, our relatives who came from far place was having a camping trip here placing a big tent and spend for a night. It makes us really everytime when there are lots of people very amazed and appreciated our place. It makes us really proud to ourselves.
I also have farm animals like chickens and some of it are at the cage made of light materials. Some of the chickens I have here are free to roam around the Farm but they only walked near at the house looking for food to eat. This cute and adorable cat of mine is always at the balcony, this cat was having a good time watching from the balcony because it contains overlooking views and can easily sees moving objects that might the cat interested to chase.
Here in the Province we also have delicious snacks and since we harvested bananas last week, we decided to cook latik out of ripe bananas. This is a kind of perfect snack combined with hot coffee or sodas. It is a good business well. I was also lucky to have ripe pineapple I harvested at the Mountain slope and it is perfect eat.
Living in the Province is what some of us really wants, and the reason why we want to have a place like this is to feel more relaxing, have a peaceful mind, fresh surroundings and we can plant different kinds of vegetables.
