Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique, admitted he had regretted the absence of the captain, Lionel Messi at the start of the 2019-2020 season. The injury that haunts Messi makes Barcelona seem to lose the pedestal figure that has always been a mainstay.
"Messi's injury is a setback and we hope he is far from the first team for the shortest possible time," Pique said, quoting Football Espana on Thursday.
"Sometimes it's not easy to change things, but we've talked about it. That was demonstrated in the match (against Villarreal) by pressing and scoring two quick goals," he added.
"Now we have to do that again at Getafe, which will help us get back to where we want to be. We have to win away from home,"
