This summer we were able to get a chance to catch a Blue Jays game with my dad in Toronto.

This was a great opportunity to get three generations together and spend some quality time while watching Canada's team. My son Luke loved it and had a fantastic time. This was mostly because Papa (what he calls my dad) bought him pretty much anything that he asked for. As you can see in one of the pictures below, he got a Blue Jays baseball. He also got a Blue Jays t-shirt and some sort of toy of a Blue Jay as well.

We spent some time walking around the stadium, eating stadium food and even watched some of the game!

My dad had brought his baseball glove and every ball that was it in our direction Luke would say "Why didn't you catch that one Papa?" as if my dad had go go gadget arms...

We talked about times that my dad had taken me to games as a kid, especially the one time that I left a can of pop in the van in the summer heat. When we came back to the van after the game, the pop had exploded all over the front dash. To this day my dad likes to remind me of this story.
Luckily on this trip no pop cans were left in the car. We did create some great memories that will hopefully last for a lifetime. Remember to spend time with your family as time doesn't last forever. Make time when needed. Don't risk regretting not doing the things today that you wish you had done yesterday.
