So over the last three weeks all the kids have been out on the ice being evaluated to ensure that they are placed in the correct skill level. The team lists were sent out by email last night and Luke was super excited about being on the same team as his good friend from school.
Tonight they held a parents meeting and handed out the uniforms. There are 12 teams so there were a lot of great colour combos. I was hoping for the Flyers Orange and Black. I would even have settled for a Nashville Yellow or Columbus Blue. But no.... it had to be Mantreal red white and blue. And look at how happy he looks wearing it. I may fall into a deep depression.
