This was a gift from a friend (she knows me too well), and I decided to crack it open today.

First impression - awesome bottle, awesome name! Although it's such an awesome bottle, I honestly had trouble opening it... The wax around the cap presented a bit of an issue. I soon resorted to stabbing away at the wax with a knife 🔪. Perhaps that's how it gets it name?

I decided to be fancy and poor it in a beer glass 🥂. Right away, I love the color of this beer. So far, so good... Then I give it a whiff... It honestly smelled like straight liquor... But not a familiar liquor... Something strange... And gross 🤢. I suppose it's because it's over 12 percent ABV. But hey, I'm not gonna waste beer! So I take a sip.

Immediately, I am grossed out. But I'm a champ, and I stick with it (cause, ya know, beer). It started to get a bit easier as I continued to drink it. But, as i spaced out my sips, I had to begin the process all over again.

Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, but still not a total loss... I got a pretty decent buzz going 😵.
