@dabirdWhen I started doing this painting had no idea what would be the result. I only did a few lines in order to learn a little in my digital tablet and try some brushes in Photoshop. I really like the organic shapes of the trees and their leaves so I tried some kinds of vegetation on the canvas. Again my subconscious led me to represent the magic of the jungle for the memories that I still have of this place and that I have been turning into recurring images. That encouraged me to try other stuffs like the ligths and shadows on the trees to get a forest atmosphere. I want to share with you this great trailer of the composer David Monacchi who records and archives the 'music' of the rainforests to be able to transmit it to posterity. This documentary reminds me that the jungle is perhaps more sonorous than visual. That is another of its great features and a delight for the senses. Enjoy
