I’m also a Sony shooter (A7ii) and once dropped and broke a GMaster 70-200mm lens that I originally paid .5 bitcoins back when Bitcoin was about $5000USD. It cost $700USD to repair it. That lens has cost me a small fortune. Now I am very gentle with it. 😁
