I'm enjoying a 4 day retreat in Devon this weekend. It's the start of a summer of road trips visiting friends I made during Social Media 1.0 (Twitter). Because of the Twitter platform I have friends all over the world of all different shapes, sizes and flavours. I'm truly blessed and I'm hoping if I build enough steem I can create a window for all to meet them and experience their lives.
By the river Dart yesterday I layed down(hard work because I suffered a back injury on Thursday) and just recored the flow of the river for one minute. It's amazing what goes through the mind in just one minute, most of it I can't recall. But I remember this... The river will keep flowing way after I'm gone. Each ripple created is different but I don't know why. I've decided that I'd like my ripples to be contributors to the flow, not against it.
It's Saturday and sunny in Devon, UK. Today I have choices (again) and I'm going for the FA Cup final over the Royal Wedding. Some are planning where the next meal is coming from or even worse.
I'm choosing today to accept I'm utterly blessed to have a life whereby I can reflect and share. I don't have everything I want, but I have more than I need.

Being able to reflect is a luxury I enjoy because I'm safe and secure in the United Kingdom, for that I'm truly grateful.
