There is a nice balance of gravity and levity in your writing. HIVE is an interesting blockchain; it has mostly been under the radar for much of its existence except for a few moments of pseudo-fame.

I will never forget how all these different tribes came together to fight for the sovereignty and immutability of the chain by forking away from a hostile takeover... of course, there are others who didn't — and still don't — see it that way.

It really doesn't matter who is "right," what is so interesting to me is how people were willing to put aside their many differences to cooperate for the base-layer chain they knew and loved.

If anything threatened HIVE in the future, I have full confidence that we'd do it all over again.
