Now my kids like games like this but today most of the sim games are rigged to get people spend more money. I never looked deep into Dcity, but the set up sims to be like sim city with no graphics. The graphics and watching the buildings being made was what my kids enjoyed most.

DCity is basically just buying and holding NFTs that have unique ID Numbers that have different stats. It is definitely "pay-to-play," a kind of speculative self-contained economy that is attempted to be designed to be self-regulating.

Perhaps in the future it will be a standalone download game with slick graphics — who knows? :-D

As for me, I don't think I have time to play games, but I will take a look at the links you sent and consider writing a post about it. Thanks for tagging me. I guess it was hard to find people who haven't gotten into dcity yet.

Haha, I definitely get it! @gerber has described it as a "passive game" before, it's made to be such that you don't really need to do anything but have the cards and occasionally log in to see how stuff's going or choose how to spend your SIM income.

Anyway, I tagged you mostly because I always find your posts creative, so even if you aren't interested in buying cards yourself maybe you'll win a small lil' city free of charge :-P
