Haha, funny you brought that up, as I was writing it I initially pictured it being dusk or fully dark, then I started thinking it might not make sense for a farmer/laborer to be up too late since they'd have to wake up early to work the next day.

Well, I got a little lazy and didn't specify the time. If I craft it into a longer story that would definitely be something I'd edit in being more clear about.

I am curious what path you will send this dreamer down. Will it be a path a kin to Siddhartha's?
