A scanty path between the wand'ring brush

There is but little I can leave this plane
but scanty path between the wand'ring brush.
Where once a wild fortress breachless grew,
I carve a portal — adamantine brick:
now dustlike laid by hammer-mind — not mine,
by universal cudgel harrièd
until the ruins scatter to the wind:
another rooting spot to surely find.

As every vine its spiring tow'r ascends
before its fragile base will severed be:
so too, through waving pinnacle and vale
I fluctuate e'er upward towards release.

To soar — to truly fly and to be free
does essence mine long-yearn in spiraling
of day on day through cyclic lesson-seek:
duality, the blessed adversity
of soul in stone and sinew — silicon,
and quartz-emphatic light bright-helical.

Through jungle of pristine-abstruse design,
chaotic order — many steps too fine
to truly graspèd be by dulling brain
of I who little leave upon this plane
but scanty path between the wand'ring brush.
