Jesucristo vendrá otra vez, esa es nuestra esperanza. || Jesus Christ will come again, that is our hope.
This is a time when many things are celebrated, because it is Christmas in some regions the birth of Jesus is remembered, this also reminds us of the hope we have in Christ Jesus.
2 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are too little to be among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for me the one who will be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.
Micah 5:2
If we go through the Bible from cover to cover, especially in the Old Testament we can find many prophecies that tell us about the coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. I am sure that many people are asking the following question: How can this spectacular promise be fulfilled?
10 But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; For behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which will be for all the people:
Luke 2:10
In the prophecies they indicated to us that the birth of the Messiah would be news that would cause much joy and this is how the angel expressed it, and we will see below what this Messiah would be.
Prophecy indicated to us that the son of God, the Savior would be a descendant of Abraham who would sit on the throne of David. We can see the entire genealogy of Jesus Christ that is clearly shown to us in the gospels of Matthew and Luke.

12 After the captivity in Babylon, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel begot Zerubbabel. 13 Zerubbabel begot Abiud, Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor. 14 Azor begot Zadok, Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud. 15 Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Mattan, and Mattan begot Jacob. 16 And Jacob begot Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen; from David to the captivity in Babylon fourteen; and from the captivity in Babylon to the Christ, fourteen.
Matthew 1:1-17
In the book of Genesis we can see that God in his love allowed all nations to be blessed through Abraham, the prophet Isaiah recorded that Christ would reign on the throne of David forever. And if we go to the case it is very clear in the gospels that Christ could claim the throne or that he was a direct descendant of Abraham and David.
We also see that the prophecy indicated that the Messiah would be a child born in Bethlehem but that he came from Egypt, we see that the birthplace that the Messiah predicted was in Bethlehem and it was expected that he would come from Egypt.
2 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are too small to be among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for me one who will be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.
Micah 5:2
When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
Hosea 11:1
According to the biblical account we are certain that there was a census and this allowed Joseph and Mary to travel to Anna Bethlehem at the exact time for the birth of the Messiah, Jesus Christ Our Lord.
13 After they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Arise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod will seek the child to kill him."
20 "Arise, take the child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child's life are dead."
21 So he arose and took the child and his mother and came to the land of Israel.
Matthew 2:13, 20-21
Later we see that Matthew explains that Joseph, Mary and Jesus left Egypt to escape the wrath of King Herod, and after his death they returned to Israel. This is a brief overview of how the prophecy of the Old Testament explains step by step describing the Messiah, God has been very specific so that people would recognize Jesus and rejoice in his coming.
Today we have enough prophecy that indicates the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, although we are not certain of the day or the hour but we are certain that the signs are being fulfilled, we must live with the glorious hope of his coming and base ourselves on it.

Miqueas 5:2
Si recorremos la Biblia de punta a punta, sobre todo en el antiguo testamento podemos encontrar muchísimas profecías que nos hablan acerca de la venida de Jesucristo, el mesías. Estoy seguro que muchas personas sean la siguiente pregunta ¿cómo será que se puede cumplir esta promesa tan espectacular?.
10 Pero el ángel les dijo: No temáis; porque he aquí os doy nuevas de gran gozo, que será para todo el pueblo:
Lucas 2:10
En las profecías nos indicaban que el nacimiento del mesías sería una noticia que causaría mucho gusto y así es como lo expresó el ángel, y veremos a continuación que sería este mesías.
Profecía nos indicaban que el hijo de Dios, El Salvador sería un descendiente de Abraham que se sentaría en el trono de David. Podemos ver toda la genealogía de Jesucristo que en los evangelios de Mateo y Lucas nos muestran claramente.

Mateo 1:1-17
En el libro de Génesis podemos ver que Dios en su amor permitió que todas las naciones sean bendecida por medio de Abraham, el profeta Isaías dejo registrado que Cristo reinaría en el trono de David para siempre. Y si vamos hasta el caso queda muy claro en los evangelios que Cristo podría reclamar el trono o sea que era una descendencia directa de Abraham y de David.
Vemos también que la profecía indicaba que el mesías sería un niño nacido en Belén pero que vino de Egipto, vemos que el lugar de nacimiento que predijo el mesías era en Belén y se esperaba que este salieron de Egipto.

Oseas 11:1
Según el relato bíblico tenemos certeza que hubo un censo y esto permitió que José y María viajar Ana Belén en el momento exacto para que naciese el mesías, Jesucristo Nuestro Señor.
13 Después que partieron ellos, he aquí un ángel del Señor apareció en sueños a José y dijo: Levántate y toma al niño y a su madre, y huye a Egipto, y permanece allá hasta que yo te diga; porque acontecerá que Herodes buscará al niño para matarlo.
20 diciendo: Levántate, toma al niño y a su madre, y vete a tierra de Israel, porque han muerto los que procuraban la muerte del niño.
21 Entonces él se levantó, y tomó al niño y a su madre, y vino a tierra de Israel.
Mateo 2:13, 20-21
Vemos más tarde que Mateo explica que José, María y Jesús pusieron Egipto para escapar de la ira de el rey Herodes, y después de la muerte de este regresaron a Israel. Esto es un breve pantallazo de cómo la profecía del antiguo testamento explica paso a paso describiendo al mesías, Dios ha sido muy específico para que la gente reconociera a Jesús y se goce en su venida.
Hoy nosotros tenemos suficiente profecía que indican la venida de nuestro señor Jesucristo, si bien no tenemos certeza del día ni la hora pero si tenemos certeza que las señales están cumpliendo, nosotros debemos vivir con la esperanza gloriosa de su venida y basarnos en ello.
