It is good and necessary to serve other people, if we want to know what is the best way to do it, we must allow ourselves to be guided by the word of God and his Holy Spirit.

Preguntarnos y cuestionarnos acerca de los dones que Dios nos ha entregado es muy importante ya que aprendemos a conocernos a nosotros mismos y sobretodo cuando tenemos un rol activo en una comunidad como es el caso de una iglesia. El apóstol Pablo aquí nos enseña que más allá de conocer cuáles son nuestros dones el punto más importante es que debemos utilizar lo de la manera correcta y uno de estos dones importantes involucra al resto es el don del servicio.
El apóstol Pablo nos da una recomendación diciendo que la mejor manera de brindar un servicio es ejerciendo el mismo acto de servir es decir: sirviendo. Aquí podemos entender la profundidad en la simpleza de las palabras del apóstol, aquí debemos entender que todo el reglamento que se aplica en el acto de servir es simplemente ayudar a los demás, no existe complicación ni mucho que obtenerse al momento de brindar el servicio de las demás personas.

Cuando el apóstol Pablo habla de servicio es muy claro y transparente, esta palabra proviene de lo que entendemos por diácono cuyo significado simplemente es: "aquel que atiende las mesas". Aquí entendemos que esto se trata de un servicio activo, de ser una persona predispuesta actuar de manera inmediata. También hay otros autores en la palabra de Dios que hablan del servicio haciendo alusión a la fe y confianza, entonces podemos entender que el servicio en forma más básica y simple consiste en disponerse a los demás basados en la fe y certeza de la palabra de Dios sirviendo a las personas, ¿Estas dispuesto a servir impulsado por Dios?.
