Resentment has no place in the mind of God, our position must be one of repentance for our faults, God is always willing to guide us in an abundant life.

21 After this, Jesus appeared again to his disciples by the Sea of Tiberias; and he revealed himself in this way: 2 There were together Simon Peter, Thomas called the Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples. 3 Simon Peter said to them, I am going fishing. They said to him: Let us also go with you. They went and entered a boat; and that night they caught nothing.
4 When it was already dawn, Jesus appeared on the beach; but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 And he said to them, Little children, do you have anything to eat? They answered him: No. 6 He said to them: Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find it. Then they threw it out, and they couldn't take it out anymore, due to the large number of fish. 7 Then that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter: He is Lord! Simon Peter, when he heard that he was the Lord, put on his clothes (because he had put them off), and threw himself into the sea. 8 And the other disciples came with the boat, dragging the net of fish, since they were not far from land but about two hundred cubits.
9 When they went down to land, they saw burning coals laid out, and a fish on them, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, Bring some of the fish you have just caught. 11 Simon Peter went up and brought the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the network was not broken. 12 Jesus said to them: Come, eat. And none of the disciples dared to ask him: Who are you? knowing that he was the Lord. 13 So Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and also some of the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to his disciples, after having risen from the dead.
Feed my sheep
15 When they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He answered him: Yes, Lord; You know that I love you. He said to him: Feed my lambs. 16 He said to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me? Peter answered him: Yes, Lord; You know that I love you. He said to him: Shepherd my sheep. 17 He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me? Pedro was saddened that he said to him the third time: Do you love me? and he answered him: Lord, you know everything; You know that I love you. Jesus said to him: Feed my sheep. 18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and went wherever you wanted; But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you, and take you where you do not want to go. 19 This he said, showing by what death he was to glorify God. And having said this, he added: Follow me.

John 21:1-19

During that moment in which the Lord Jesus commissioned Peter, he had denied him three times but at this very moment Jesus has risen just as he had promised, Peter has surely felt ashamed And this perhaps like any of we would have made him go back, in the previous text we see that at one point Peter said "I'm going fishing." From that moment on he returned to the water to do what he knew best except that at that moment the fishing was not optimal since he had not caught anything at all and at that moment someone from the town appeared and told him to throw the net to the right, moments Later, when trying to lift the Net full of fish, they almost capsized the boat, this being also a miraculous catch and at that moment Pedro says "he is the man, quote unquote, at that same moment Pedro jumps to swim to the shore.

Later we see that after breakfast Christ talks to Peter, despite his actions and decisions Peter is still alive but he is not enjoying that abundant life that he intended or that Christ had promised, Peter is experiencing as a kind of death and needs confrontation with the Lord Jesus Christ himself, the questions that will resurrect his faith and restore his life.

Perhaps we are going through a moment of some denial, not necessarily like the denials of the level that Peter had expressed but like Peter we must confess before the Lord, this implies trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are times when we do not open our hearts and we do not do so, but this whole conversation and the situation experienced with the apostle Peter should remind us that at all times we have the opportunity to approach the Lord, confess our sins and he can restore anyone, including us, from that moment to be able to live fully and exercise our leadership towards other people with total freedom and fullness.

El rencor no tiene lugar en la mente de Dios, nuestra posición debe ser de arrepentimiento de nuestras faltas, Dios siempre está dispuesto a guiarnos en una vida abundante.

4 Cuando ya iba amaneciendo, se presentó Jesús en la playa; mas los discípulos no sabían que era Jesús. 5 Y les dijo: Hijitos, ¿tenéis algo de comer? Le respondieron: No. 6 Él les dijo: Echad la red a la derecha de la barca, y hallaréis. Entonces la echaron, y ya no la podían sacar, por la gran cantidad de peces. 7 Entonces aquel discípulo a quien Jesús amaba dijo a Pedro: ¡Es el Señor! Simón Pedro, cuando oyó que era el Señor, se ciñó la ropa (porque se había despojado de ella), y se echó al mar. 8 Y los otros discípulos vinieron con la barca, arrastrando la red de peces, pues no distaban de tierra sino como doscientos codos.
9 Al descender a tierra, vieron brasas puestas, y un pez encima de ellas, y pan. 10 Jesús les dijo: Traed de los peces que acabáis de pescar. 11 Subió Simón Pedro, y sacó la red a tierra, llena de grandes peces, ciento cincuenta y tres; y aun siendo tantos, la red no se rompió. 12 Les dijo Jesús: Venid, comed. Y ninguno de los discípulos se atrevía a preguntarle: ¿Tú, quién eres? sabiendo que era el Señor. 13 Vino, pues, Jesús, y tomó el pan y les dio, y asimismo del pescado. 14 Esta era ya la tercera vez que Jesús se manifestaba a sus discípulos, después de haber resucitado de los muertos.
Apacienta mis ovejas
15 Cuando hubieron comido, Jesús dijo a Simón Pedro: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas más que estos? Le respondió: Sí, Señor; tú sabes que te amo. Él le dijo: Apacienta mis corderos. 16 Volvió a decirle la segunda vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Pedro le respondió: Sí, Señor; tú sabes que te amo. Le dijo: Pastorea mis ovejas. 17 Le dijo la tercera vez: Simón, hijo de Jonás, ¿me amas? Pedro se entristeció de que le dijese la tercera vez: ¿Me amas? y le respondió: Señor, tú lo sabes todo; tú sabes que te amo. Jesús le dijo: Apacienta mis ovejas. 18 De cierto, de cierto te digo: Cuando eras más joven, te ceñías, e ibas a donde querías; mas cuando ya seas viejo, extenderás tus manos, y te ceñirá otro, y te llevará a donde no quieras. 19 Esto dijo, dando a entender con qué muerte había de glorificar a Dios. Y dicho esto, añadió: Sígueme.

Juan 21:1-19

Durante ese momento en que el señor Jesús encargó a Pedro, éste le había negado tres veces pero en este mismo momento Jesús ha resucitado tal cual lo había prometido, Pedro seguramente se ha sentido avergonzado Y esto quizás como a cualquiera de nosotros le habría hecho volver atrás, en el texto anterior vemos que en un momento Pedro dijo "voy a pescar". Desde ese momento vuelve al agua para hacer lo que mejor sabía hacer exceptuando que en ese momento la pesca no era óptima ya que no había pescado absolutamente nada y en ese momento aparece alguien de la villa y dice que tire la Red a la derecha, momentos después al intentar levantar la Red llena de peces casi vuelcan la embarcación siendo esta también una pesca milagrosa y en ese momento Pedro dice "él es el señor cierro comillas, en ese mismo momento Pedro salta para ir nadando a la orilla.

Más tarde vemos que después de desayunar Cristo habla con Pedro, a pesar de sus acciones y sus decisiones Pedro sigue vivo pero no está disfrutando de esa vida abundante que pretendía o la que Cristo había prometido, Pedro está experimentando como una especie de muerte y necesita la confrontación con el mismo señor Jesucristo, las pregunta que harán resucitar su fe y restaurar su vida.

Quizás nosotros estamos pasando por un momento de alguna negación, no necesariamente como las negaciones del nivel que Pedro había manifestado pero al igual que Pedro debemos confesarnos delante del señor, esto implica confianza en el señor Jesucristo. Hay momento en que no abrimos nuestro corazón y no lo hacemos pero toda esta conversación y la situación vivida con el apóstol Pedro debe recordarnos que en todo momento tenemos oportunidad de acercarnos al señor confesar nuestros pecados y él puede restaurar cualquier persona, incluidos nosotros, desde ese momento poder vivir en plenitud y ejercer nuestro liderazgo hacia otras personas con total libertad y plenitud.
