Our job and responsibility is to seek God, He is responsible for giving us new strength and the necessary wisdom to face any situation that arises.
For they all frightened us, saying, Their hands will be weak in the work, and it will not be finished. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. 10 Then I came to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, because he was shut up; who said to me: Let us gather in the house of God, inside the temple, and let us close the doors of the temple, because they are coming to kill you; Yes, tonight they will come to kill you. 11 Then I said, Should a man like me flee? And who, who was like me, would enter the temple to save his life? I won't go in. 12 And I understood that God had not sent him, but that he spoke that prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had bribed him. 13 Because he was bribed to make me fear thus, and that I should sin, and serve them a bad name by that I should be disgraced. 14 Remember, my God, Tobiah and Sanballat, according to these things they did; Also remember Noadiah the prophetess, and the other prophets who tried to make me afraid.
Nehemiah 6:9-14
When we stand before God, surrender to him and ask him to rebuild our lives, we are certain that some type of opposition will surely arise. We have the example of Nehemiah when he proposed to rebuild the walls, some people rose up against him, threatening the progress of reconstruction, in a similar way it usually happens to us, there is an enemy of God and of the children of God who rises up to destroy us, discourage us or To stray from the target, we need to discover these situations and act like Nehemiah: "Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands."
In the previous text we see that another Israelite enters the scene and advises Nehemiah to hide from his enemies to save his life. This same thing usually happens in our lives in different situations, we receive advice from people or receive suggestions Of those who are led by fear or who do not see the big picture or victory from the Lord, we may cling to and follow that type of advice or ignore it and just like Nehemiah our eyes are opened. Perhaps it may be the advice of a "Shemaiah" who tries to discourage us or delay us in the race.
It is very interesting to know that we can respond to the voice of God that invites us to restoration, we partner with him in this powerful work, we overcome the difficulties, we leave aside the anxieties by putting before him his promises :
Let your customs be without greed, content with what you have now; for he said, I will not forsake you, nor forsake you;
Hebrews 13:5
God fervently wants us to place our faith and trust in his promises, that even when we feel afraid, we do NOT cling to him, even when we are surrounded by complications and difficulties we cling to his promises that will give us victory, let us trust our lives to the one who has the power to restore ALL things, even that which is to be rebuilt in our lives.

No entraré. 12 Y entendí que Dios no lo había enviado, sino que hablaba aquella profecía contra mí porque Tobías y Sanbalat lo habían sobornado. 13 Porque fue sobornado para hacerme temer así, y que pecase, y les sirviera de mal nombre con que fuera yo infamado. 14 Acuérdate, Dios mío, de Tobías y de Sanbalat, conforme a estas cosas que hicieron; también acuérdate de Noadías profetisa, y de los otros profetas que procuraban infundirme miedo.
Nehemías 6:9-14
Cuando nos presentamos delante de Dios, nos entregamos a él y le pedimos que reconstruya nuestra vida, tenemos certeza que seguramente se levantará algún tipo de oposición. Tenemos el ejemplo de Nehemías cuando se propuso reconstruir los muros, se levantaron en su contra algunas personas amenazando el progreso de reconstrucción, de manera similar suele ocurrirnos, hay un enemigo de Dios y de los hijos de Dios que se levanta para destruirnos, desanimarnos o desviarnos del blanco, es necesario que descubramos estas situaciones y actuemos como Nehemías: "Ahora, pues, oh Dios, fortalece tú mis manos".
En el texto anterior vemos que entra en escena otro israelita que aconseja a Nehemías que se esconda de sus enemigos para que salve su vida, esto mismo suele suceder en nuestras vidas en diferentes situaciones, recibimos consejos de personas o recibimos sugerencias de quienes son guiados por el miedo o que no ven el panorama completos o la victoria de parte del Señor, es posible que nos aferremos y sigamos ese tipo de consejo o que lo ignoremos y así como Nehemías nuestros ojos se abren. Quizás puede ser el consejo de un "Semaías" que intenta desanimarnos o retrasarnos en la carrera.
Es muy interesante saber que podemos responder a la voz de dios que nos invita a la restauración, nos asociamos con él en esta obra poderosa, pasamos sobre las dificultades, dejamos de lado las angustias poniendo en frente sus promesas:
Sean vuestras costumbres sin avaricia, contentos con lo que tenéis ahora; porque él dijo: No te desampararé, ni te dejaré;
Hebreos 13:5
Dios desea fervientemente que depositemos nuestra fe y confianza en sus promesas, que aún cuando sentimos miedo , NO nos aferremos a él, aún cuando estamos rodeados de complicaciones y dificultades nos aferremos a sus promesas que nos darán la victoria, confiemos nuestra vida a quien tiene el poder de restaurar TODAS las cosas, aún aquello que está para reconstruir en nuestras vidas.
