Hello to all members of the community Photography Lovers. Today I'm going to show you some photos of an enclosed courtyard of a building which, to my surprise, is full of interesting details. While walking around town, I noticed an open gate giving access to this enclosed courtyard. At first glance, the courtyard seemed similar to the other surrounding buildings. At the entrance, I noticed a plaque indicating that this building had several functions, notably administrative. Entering the courtyard, what a surprise to discover all the details that make up the entire building. Sculptures were present everywhere, with pink stone, wood and limestone making up all the buildings.
The heterogeneous appearance of this ensemble suggests that, in the past, the owner had the strange idea of mixing these two architectures. Particularly for the use of a single input whose manufacturing cost was probably very high. What message did they want to send to other citizens? Perhaps to show off their wealth and ability to create a lordly entrance at any cost. Or maybe it was just a whim with a good dose of bad taste, mixing two completely opposite styles and making the whole thing more unsightly than homogeneous. We'll never know. The building and courtyard entrance alone are very pretty, but the mixture of the two doesn't seem coherent, at least to me. Hahaha.
