YES! It’s called fractal art, and was made in the 80’s!
Drawing is a deep psychedelic experience ! Since the old times we, humans, are big admirers of fractals.

In the book “Man and his Symbols”, 5 writers “Approach the Unconscious”, explaining the connection between cultures and universal symbols, and how different, at the same time, it’s effects can have on our minds, depending on our specific experiences. I highly recommend reading it.
Written just a few months before Carl Jung passed away, his writings are on the fifth part of the book and is a must for everyone willing to dive deep into the universe of symbols.
