In Ontario the Premier has now admitted (unintentionally, in a campaigning blunder) that the revenues of the carbon tax here are being used to bankroll other government expenditures. There is no hope for reversing this trend unless people truly start to understand how little value they receive from playing along with these revenue schemes.
